Arsenal are being linked with several potential new signings as the January transfer window rolls on with new updates on moves for Marc Guehi and Jeremy Jacquet
Arsenal have three weeks to go before the January transfer window closes, as Mikel Arteta weighs up potential new signings. The Gunners are enjoying an impressive season so far, but have been linked with strengthening their squad during the winter transfer window.
Arteta’s side claimed a 4-1 win over Portsmouth in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon, and have now booked their place in the fourth round of the competition. Arsenal have a six-point lead at the top of the Premier League table, and are now preparing to face Chelsea in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final later this week.
On the transfer front, a host of players have already been linked with signing for Arsenal, and that is expected to continue all the way up to the deadline on February 2. Here, Mirror Football takes a look at some of the latest Arsenal transfer news and gossip that has emerged over the last 24 hours.

Arsenal are reportedly one of two potential destinations being considered by Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi. Guehi’s future has been the subject of intense speculation as the January transfer window rolls on, having missed out on a deadline day move to Liverpool worth £35million back in September.
The Athletic reports that Arsenal and Liverpool are the clubs that are of interest to Guehi, but not until the summer when his contract expires. Athletic reporter Sam Lee told the Let Me Talk podcast: “On Monday night, I was told by somebody who knows what's going on at City, but also I think probably Palace as well, he said he thinks Guehi wants to stay until the summer and he prefers Liverpool [to City] in any case.
“Somebody else messaged me on Twitter and I know he's very good on other club stuff, he was like: ‘Yeah, he wants to stay until the summer – and he prefers Liverpool and Arsenal'.
Guehi, 25, has made 20 Premier League appearances this season. He is set to be a part of Thomas Tuchel's England World Cup squad in the summer.
Arsenal are reportedly facing competition from Liverpool for the signing of Rennes defender Jeremy Jacquet. Football Insider have reported that the Gunners are alongside the Merseyside outfit and Chelsea in expressing an interest in signing Jacquet.
