Emmerdale ‘lets slip’ Ray’s killer and who Rhona’s messaging after cryptic Arthur scene

Emmerdale's latest episode may have given away who killed Ray Walters and who is innocent as his body was found on the ITV soap, with some characters acting oddly

Ray's killer on Emmerdale could have been exposed on Monday night, after some rather cryptic scenes.

With Arthur Thomas acting strangely and his mother Laurel Thomas, Ray's love interest, also being a bit secretive, might they be the culprits? Then there's Rhona Goskirk and the mystery person she has been calling and messaging.

She sent them a text on Monday that read: “Please call me. Urgently!” It came off the back of the news Ray's body had been found, with police investigating his murder.

Elsewhere, Arthur looked pretty rattled when Laurel mentioned Ray's demise and his body being found. Of course it could be shock, but could he be hiding something?

Then we saw that Laurel was covering something up, as she snuck to the Hide where she works. She was seen scanning the area for anyone watching, before dumping a mystery red bag in the bins.

Is this Ray's bag and what's in it? Why is she dumping it, especially away from her house? She and Arthur appeared to be up to something, so could this mean one of them is the killer, and that both of them are covering their tracks?

Or could Rhona be to blame, after she recently asked someone is something was done? We have no idea what she was referring to, but it seems someone unknown was tasked with something.

Could this have been Ray's murder, and did Rhona do it or get someone to kill him? Fans still think Graham Foster is the person Rhona is secretly speaking with, but what if it's actually someone else?

Could it be the killer or someone who helped her, and so is it someone currently in the village? If so, it's not Marlon, Dylan or April as they were in the room with Rhona moments before her secret message was sent.

So if not them, could it be Laurel? Could it be Rhona's mum Mary Goskirk? Or perhaps Ross Barton? The possibilities are endless, while poor Jai Sharma fears the heat is on him due to his link to Laurel.

With the body found in the van he had bee driving around, it doesn't look good. This in itself could suggest Jai is innocent amid spoilers seeing him protesting he is not guilty of the crime, but could it all be a cover-up, with him actually being involved?

We will just have to wait and see, as we await an explanation as to how the body ended up in the van at the depot!
